AREA OF USE

The malamute is a freight dog, bred to pull heavy loads over a period of time. He is built with strength and stamina and not meant for competing in fast tracks. The breed standard is clear on this point and stresses the importance of the dogs ability to perform these tasks.

It is important to take care of this, like it's important to take care of the breeds ability to survive under extreme conditions in arctic climate.

As breeders of malamutes we try to take care of these unique characteristics while keeping the dogs healthy and good tempered.

Through the year we try to use the malamute in many ways. It is a breed that enjoys a challenge, both mentally and physically.
